Avrim Blum received his Ph.D. at MIT in 1991 under Ron Rivest. His main research interests are machine learning theory, approximation algorithms, on-line algorithms, algorithmic game theory, and mechanism design.

Eyal Even-Dar graduated from Tel Aviv University in 2005 under the supervision of Yishay Mansour. After two years of postdoctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania under the supervision of Michael Kearns, he joined Google Research NY for three years. His research interests include learning theory and algorithmic game theory.
